ABOUT ME
I trained with Ron Colyer at the Alexander Re-Education Centre for three years and am passionate to introduce Alexander Technique to people of all ages and for whatever the reason.
I worked in corporate business for many years, including setting up and running my own business for over ten years. I am au fait with the challenges associated with corporate life and the demands of people management, performance, public speaking and deadlines.
I have suffered several major accidents and multiple fractures in my body so I am familiar with repairing the body and the imbalances injury creates. In addition, how pain impacts on us and how we hold on to it. Alexander Technique has been instrumental in my ‘letting go’ to restore free movement.
Motivated by movement with a love of nature – any excuse to be outside whether walking, cycling or horse riding in the countryside! I practise yoga and am a qualified pilates and swim teacher.
I also enjoy working with people in the performing arts, including young aspiring students. In all, I’m keen to work with anyone seeking a healthier, improved and happier way of going about their daily activities.
Alexander Technique has had a profound affect on all aspects of my life and I hope I can help bring similar benefits to you.
